This past March, we were honored to present a check for $7,000 to the Child Life Specialist Program at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. These funds were raised during our 2025 Memorial Workout, and we couldn’t be prouder of the impact they will have.
Most people don’t realize that Child Life Specialists are funded almost entirely through donor support. They are the heart of pediatric care—the ones who sit with children during scary procedures, explain complex medical news in ways a child can understand, and bring moments of play and normalcy into a hospital room. They are also there for families during the unthinkable, providing comfort to parents and siblings during end-of-life care.
It felt incredibly meaningful to direct this year’s donation to the people who bring so much compassion and humanity to our community’s children. Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, and helped us honor Jonathon in a way that truly makes a difference.
