For 10 years Jon’s family and friends held a memorial motorcycle ride and benefit to raise money for this scholarship. Since 2019, Jon’s family and friends have held a workout fundraiser in Jon’s honor. Monies raised from both were/are used to fund this $1000 scholarship. It was designed to be given to a deserving student from W.N.H.S. who exemplifies the essence of Jon’s character. Any additional funds are donated to veteran organizations in order to help serve and support our military heroes and their families.
